Wicker Park and Bucktown are two Chicago neighborhoods that have blended so well that it’s difficult to tell where one begins and the other ends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wicker Park was incorporated as part of Chicago in 1837 and was named in the 1870s after developers Charles and John Wicker bought the land after the Chicago fire. Bucktown got its name from Polish immigrants who raised goats (Bucks in Polish); thus, Bucktown was born.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
