A colorful, bohemian pad located in one of Brooklyn’s best neighborhoods, this three-bedroom, one-bathroom shared apartment is now available to rent. At 867-square-feet, this couples-friendly East Williamsburg unit features french doors, freshly painted walls, original hardwood flooring, large windows, modern lighting fixtures, radiator heating, and a spacious, fully-applianced eat-in kitchen. Large, sunlit bedrooms that can be furnished upon request provide plenty of room for queen-size beds, nightstands, and desks or dressers. The centerpiece of this cozy apartment, a warm and inviting living room accommodates a sectional couch, coffee table, TV stand, and additional furniture like a reading chair by the two large windows. A modern bare-bulb chandelier hangs from the center of the living room, providing plenty of light for any occasion. Recently remodeled, the tile-floor kitchen features new stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, caesarstone countertops, and stained shaker cabinets. The kitchen includes a breakfast bar that seats two. The full-bathroom features tile floors that match the kitchen and white subway tiling along the walls of the bathtub and shower combination. Located in the northwest section of Brooklyn, East Williamsburg is a predominantly residential area bounded by the neighborhoods of Maspeth and Ridgewood to the east, Bushwick to the south, Williamsburg to the west, and Greenpoint to the north. This area is still often referred to as just Williamsburg by longtime residents. East Williamsburg is a diverse area with several distinct communities and sub-neighborhoods within its borders. Once a popular landing spot for numerous Irish, Italian, and Latin American immigrants dating back to the late 19th century, East Williamsburg today is a cultural melting pot that is home to some of the most authentic Italian cuisine in New York City. Modestly priced apartments and proximity to Lower Manhattan are two major factors for the large influx in population that has been seen here since the late 20th century. East Williamsburg’s eclectic demographic consists primarily of college students attending one of the many nearby universities and professionals that commute for work. Graham Avenue to the west and Metropolitan Avenue, which runs through the center of East Williamsburg, are the two main commercial thoroughfares in this neighborhood. You will find no shortage of dive bars, trendy cafes, and ethnic restaurants along those corridors. Less than a block from Cooper Park and two blocks from Metropolitan Avenue, this East Williamsburg apartment is ideal for tenants that prefer to walk or ride a bike. A six-minute walk will get you to Graham Avenue subway station in Williamsburg for the L train on the BMT Canarsie Line. Street parking is available for those that drive. This unit includes paid WiFi and a large, flat-screen TV. Not sure how long you plan to stay in Brooklyn? June offers month-to-month flexible leasing to fit your needs....
