Located in the one of the oldest neighborhoods in Washington D.C., this beautiful brick row home on a tree-lined street provides a modern and well designed D.C. experience. The home has been fully renovated and offers all the amenities that one would expect from a boutique hotel in a personalized environment that’ll rightfully make you feel at home.
Scandinavian, mid-century modernist, and minimalist are a few words that would describe Barracks House II. Our delicately designed home presents a serene color scheme of white, various shades of gray, taupes, accented in brass, with strengthening elements of black. Vintage terracotta floors provide an eccentric feeling on the ground level, where you’ll find your well appointed living area with a mixture of warm walnut woods and scandinavian lighting. Contemporary art lines the walls of the home while pops of tropical plants balance the modernist design approach. Adjacent to the living room is a newly renovated kitchen fitted with new appliances and subtle brass details. Our in-house design team hand picked all furnishing and decor to give each sleeping chamber its own unique milieu. On the parlor level you’ll find one full and queen-sized bedchambers. te The first with a blue upholstered full-bed accented by textured oak wood accent furniture. The second quarters are similar in aesthetic but much larger in comparison with a supple shag carpet and coordinating linens. A similar milieu is followed on the 2nd level where you’ll find two more queen-sized bedchambers carefully manicured to provide a experiential living for a truly competitive price.
